Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
Damage: Be sure to do a quick visual check for rips or tears after you take it out of the package.
Lubricants: If desired, use a silicone or water based lubricant on the vulva or anus before putting the dam down. Be sure to wipe the excess off your fingers as it can make it difficult to hold the dam in place.

Instructions: 

For oral sex, remove the dam and lay it flat covering the entire vulva, covering both the vaginal opening and the clitoris, hold the edges of the dam. For oral/anal, cover the anus using a new dam.
