Happy New Year! And welcome to the Year of the
Pig. 2007 is upon us and we can look forward to
a fabulous and exciting year ahead.

Honey
had a very challenging year in 2006. We started out
with news that the underground subway construction would
now be above ground affecting traffic and ultimately
business for us. Then smoke damage from a nearby fire
closed the store and Honey moved to a temporary location
across the street. In August, we finally moved back
and decided to stay in the Cambie Village because we
love the community and all our customers! We look forward
to serving you in 2007.
With
the start of a New Year come resolutions. Goals to better
yourself, to make change in your life, to love more,
to get out of debt …which we all know is important,
but we would like to make a suggestion for this years
resolutions. Make at least one resolution as a couple
this year.
2007
is the year of the Pig according to the Chinese calendar.
And even more interesting is this year is believed to
be the ``Year of the Golden Pig,’’ which
only comes around every 600 years. It is the luckiest
year to to come around in 600 years according to Chinese
Astrology!

Make
a Resolution Together As a Couple
Aside
from your personal resolutions, make one resolution

help increase our understanding of our partners,
our relationship, and get us communicating with
each other. And some books
are just packed with fun suggestions to keep that
fire burning. |

Make
a schedule plans to have fun together. I know, I
know…you have heard it before- date night.
It almost sounds cliché to you, but don’t
make plans once a week if you know it will not work.
Plan a leisurely hike one month, a movie and dinner
night another month. If you have fallen into a work
and home routine that doesn’t include any
fun activities together, once a month is a good
place to start. |

Tell your partner you miss or love them more often.
Expressing sweet and loving sentiments will always
brighten your partners’ mood and bring on
that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. If you don’t
feel comfortable saying “I love you”,
expressing yourself in other ways like, “I
can’t wait to see you”, or tell them
